Your front page isn't your most recent post. It is whatever you want to say about your site. If you strictly want to do blogging then I would suggest blogger, wordpress, or typepad. But if you want a personal or business "website" then it is handy to use Weebly because of it's static page ability. In essence it can look more professional and what people "expect" to see on a webpage. Did I mention that it is free? Here is a Weebly site that is both professional and simple.
